The Metal Man ATEC8735SGC auto darkening welding helmet is designed for MIG, TIG, and stick welding. The lens automatically darkens when the welding arc is detected and returns to a light state after the arc stops.
The helmet uses four arc sensors to detect the welding arc and trigger the auto darkening filter. Shade settings can be adjusted from 9 to 13 and the helmet includes grind mode so the lens does not darken during grinding operations.
In real shop use this helmet is commonly used in fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and home welding setups where adjustable sensitivity and delay controls help the operator tune the lens response for different welding conditions.

Customers shipping to residential addresses will be contacted by Customer Service if additional freight charges apply.
Someone must be present to sign for and accept delivery of all freight shipments.
If liftgate service is declined but used at delivery, the customer is responsible for the additional carrier charge.
Items purchased separately from machines or palletized equipment incur an additional $250 freight shipping fee when shipped to a commercial address.
When delivered to a residential address, customers are responsible for all applicable freight and accessorial charges.
All freight shipments leave our suppliers’ facilities in good condition.
Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery in accordance with carrier documentation. We assist customers with delivery-related issues in accordance with our published policies.
To protect yourself:
Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If possible, inspect the contents while the driver is present.
Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt before signing.
For freight terminal pickups (“Hold for Pickup” shipments), inspect the shipment before leaving the terminal. Damage not noted at pickup may be denied by the carrier.
We are happy to assist customers with freight claims when possible; however, freight claims are ultimately handled by the carrier.
