The Optrel Weldcap combines an auto darkening welding filter with a lightweight flame retardant baseball cap style helmet. The design allows welders to maintain welding eye protection while working in environments where mobility and comfort are important.
The helmet uses a single wide angle detection sensor and operates with variable shades from DIN 9 to DIN 12. A grinding mode with DIN 3 light state allows the user to perform metal preparation work without switching helmets.
Typical applications include fabrication work, maintenance welding, and jobsite environments where welders frequently alternate between welding and grinding tasks.

A freight terminal for customer pickup.
Residential Freight Deliveries
Freight shipments can be delivered to residential addresses; however, additional carrier accessorial fees apply.
Examples of accessorial charges include:
Residential delivery surcharge
Liftgate service
Limited access delivery fees
Appointment delivery or re-delivery charges
Customers shipping to residential addresses will be contacted by Customer Service if additional freight charges apply.
Someone must be present to sign for and accept delivery of all freight shipments.
If liftgate service is declined but used at delivery, the customer is responsible for the additional carrier charge.
Additional Freight Items
Items purchased separately from machines or palletized equipment incur an additional $250 freight shipping fee when shipped to a commercial address.
When delivered to a residential address, customers are responsible for all applicable freight and accessorial charges.
Freight Delivery Inspection & Damage Policy
All freight shipments leave our suppliers’ facilities in good condition.
Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery in accordance with carrier documentation. We assist customers with delivery-related issues in accordance with our published policies.
To protect yourself:
Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If possible, inspect the contents while the driver is present.
Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt before signing.
For freight terminal pickups (“Hold for Pickup” shipments), inspect the shipment before leaving the terminal. Damage not noted at pickup may be denied by the carrier.
We are happy to assist customers with freight claims when possible; however, freight claims are ultimately handled by the carrier.
