The Optrel Helix 2.5 welding helmet uses a panoramic lens design that expands the visible work area compared to standard welding helmets. The auto darkening filter provides a light state of DIN 2.5 for improved visibility before and after welding.
The slide up lens allows the welding filter to move out of the way during grinding or positioning work. Five arc sensors detect the welding arc and activate the filter, while adjustable sensitivity and delay controls allow the helmet to be adapted for different welding processes.
