The Tig Star Mr. Pointy tungsten grinder is a compact enclosed grinder used to sharpen tungsten electrodes for TIG welding. Proper tungsten preparation helps maintain arc stability, improve arc starting, and reduce contamination that can affect weld quality.
The grinder supports multiple tungsten diameters and preset grinding angles to help welders maintain consistent electrode geometry. The enclosed design helps control grinding dust while protecting the electrode from contamination during sharpening.
Designed for portability, the grinder comes with a carrying case and standard 3 prong power connection. This makes it suitable for fabrication shops, field work, training environments, and maintenance welding operations where tungsten preparation needs to be done close to the job.

Someone must be present to sign for and accept delivery of all freight shipments.
If liftgate service is declined but used at delivery, the customer is responsible for the additional carrier charge.
Items purchased separately from machines or palletized equipment incur an additional $250 freight shipping fee when shipped to a commercial address.
When delivered to a residential address, customers are responsible for all applicable freight and accessorial charges.
All freight shipments leave our suppliers’ facilities in good condition.
Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery in accordance with carrier documentation. We assist customers with delivery-related issues in accordance with our published policies.
To protect yourself:
Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If possible, inspect the contents while the driver is present.
Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt before signing.
For freight terminal pickups (“Hold for Pickup” shipments), inspect the shipment before leaving the terminal. Damage not noted at pickup may be denied by the carrier.
We are happy to assist customers with freight claims when possible; however, freight claims are ultimately handled by the carrier.
