The Independence 251 SV is a single voltage AC DC TIG welding machine designed for aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, titanium, and other metals. This package is intended for welders who already own compatible Miller TIG accessories including a 35 DINSE torch connection with side gas and a 14 pin foot pedal.
The machine provides up to 250 amps of TIG output on 220V single phase power. It supports AC TIG welding for aluminum and DC TIG welding for steel and stainless applications. The system also supports stick welding and carbon arc gouging.
Advanced TIG controls allow the operator to adjust AC frequency, AC balance, waveforms, and pulse parameters. These adjustments help control arc shape, heat input, and weld appearance across a wide range of materials and thicknesses.

Residential Freight Deliveries
Freight shipments can be delivered to residential addresses; however, additional carrier accessorial fees apply.

Appointment delivery or re-delivery charges
Customers shipping to residential addresses will be contacted by Customer Service if additional freight charges apply.
Someone must be present to sign for and accept delivery of all freight shipments.

Additional Freight Items
Items purchased separately from machines or palletized equipment incur an additional $250 freight shipping fee when shipped to a commercial address.
When delivered to a residential address, customers are responsible for all applicable freight and accessorial charges.
Freight Delivery Inspection & Damage Policy
All freight shipments leave our suppliers’ facilities in good condition.
Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery in accordance with carrier documentation. We assist customers with delivery-related issues in accordance with our published policies.
To protect yourself:
Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If possible, inspect the contents while the driver is present.
Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt before signing.
For freight terminal pickups (“Hold for Pickup” shipments), inspect the shipment before leaving the terminal. Damage not noted at pickup may be denied by the carrier.
We are happy to assist customers with freight claims when possible; however, freight claims are ultimately handled by the carrier.
