The Sand Star 402 is a 4-1/2 inch variable speed angle grinder used for grinding metal, removing weld slag, smoothing surfaces, and preparing material for welding. The grinder uses a 12 amp motor designed to handle common shop grinding tasks.
Variable speed control allows the operator to adjust RPM between 3000 and 10000 depending on the material and abrasive wheel being used. This allows more control when working on different surfaces or when switching between grinding, sanding, and finishing tasks.
The lock on switch allows the grinder to run continuously during longer grinding operations, reducing hand fatigue. A quick connect guard helps protect the operator from sparks and debris while the spanner wrench system allows quick wheel changes.

Someone must be present to sign for and accept delivery of all freight shipments.

Items purchased separately from machines or palletized equipment incur an additional $250 freight shipping fee when shipped to a commercial address.
When delivered to a residential address, customers are responsible for all applicable freight and accessorial charges.
All freight shipments leave our suppliers’ facilities in good condition.
Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery in accordance with carrier documentation. We assist customers with delivery-related issues in accordance with our published policies.
To protect yourself:
Inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If possible, inspect the contents while the driver is present.
Note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery receipt before signing.
For freight terminal pickups (“Hold for Pickup” shipments), inspect the shipment before leaving the terminal. Damage not noted at pickup may be denied by the carrier.
