The Laguna Revo 15 x 24 is a variable speed wood lathe designed for bowl turning, spindle work, and general woodworking projects. It uses a 1.5 HP permanent magnet DC motor controlled by pulse width modulation for consistent torque across the full speed range.
The lathe features a sliding headstock that allows outboard bowl turning and adjustable height legs to improve ergonomics. Electronic speed control combined with a three step pulley system provides a wide operating range from low speed roughing to higher speed finishing.
In real shop use this machine is commonly used for bowl turning, spindle projects, and small production woodworking where a mid size lathe with electronic speed control is required.
