The Laguna Tools SE1018 is a horizontal bandsaw designed for cutting metal stock including round bar, square stock, and rectangular material. The machine uses a high torque DC motor with gear reducer which eliminates belts and pulleys while maintaining steady cutting performance.
Variable blade speed control allows operators to adjust cutting speed based on the material being processed. A hydraulic gravity feed system controls the cutting head and automatically shuts the machine off when the cut is complete.
In real shop use this saw is commonly used for cutting structural steel, tubing, and solid bar stock in fabrication and maintenance shops.
